We will keep it short but to the point in order to provide you with everything you should know when it comes to keeping things safe.
If you ever get your device or batteries wet please stop using and replace any damaged parts to insure safety.
This also includes the wrapping on batteries, if you ever have any tares then please stop using the battery until you can get it re wrapped at your local vape shop.
Never store loose or extra batteries in your pocket or bag with anything else especially metal objects such as keys, loose change. As this can cause the connection on the batteries to complete causing them to heat up and possible cause serious injury.
So lets just keep our extra batteries in plastic battery containers, they are pretty easy to find online for around $2 worth it if you ask me.
Never leave your vape, batteries, or e-liquid in your car especially during the summer. Heat can cause the batteries to expand or become damaged along with your vape.
E-Liquid that is exposed to extreme heats can also become harsher causing the flavor to be off, and even cause the e-liquid itself to thin out causing major leaking issues.
Never leave a vape or batteries charging unattended, this includes overnight while you sleep. Last thing we want if for a fire to happen from a defective battery or device.
We have seen this become a issue to many times, We always recommend using the Charger Cable that is included with the device or external cable. As not using the correct cable can cause damage to the devices.
Never use a cell phone charger or any charger over 2amp output, we highly recommend a .5-1amp output charger as this is ideal for deep charging cycles. Which in return provide longer lasting charge cycles and overall life span.
What Else Can I Do?
Until all vapes and vape batteries conform to strong and consistent safety standards, your best protection against vape battery explosions may be knowing as much as possible about your device and how to properly handle and charge its batteries.
Make sure you read and understand the manufacturer's recommendations for use and care of your device. If your vape did not come with instructions or you have further questions, contact the manufacturer.
Don't remove or disable safety features—like fire button locks or vent holes—that are designed to prevent battery overheating and explosions.
Only use batteries recommended for your device. Don't mix different brands of batteries, use batteries with different charge levels, or use old and new batteries together.
Charge your vape on a clean, flat surface, away from anything that can easily catch fire and someplace you can clearly see it—not a couch or pillow where it is more prone to overheat or get turned on accidentally.
Protect your vape from extreme temperatures by not leaving it in direct sunlight or in your car on a freezing cold night.
